                   Who is NAO?


    
NAO is a 58-cm tall humanoid robot. He   is     small, cute and round. You can't help but love him! NAO is intended to be a friendly companion around the house. He  moves, recognises you,hears you and even talks to you!

Aldebaran created NAO to be a true daily companion. He is the little    creature  who helps you be your best. His  humanoid  form and extreme interactivity  make him  really endearing and  loveable.
   
  Features:

 25 degrees of freedom, for movement
·    Two cameras, to see its surroundings
·    An inertial measurement unit, which lets him know whether he is upright or sitting down
·    Touch sensors to detect your touch
·   Four directional microphones, so he can hear you

    1. yes, especially for those students who study technology because according to the article I've read NAO became a star in the world of education. In more than 70 countries, he was used in computer and science classes, from primary school through to university. Thanks to NAO, students can learn programming in a fun and practical way. They can program him to walk, catch small objects and even dance. :D

      *Hands-on experience by connecting theory with practice
      *Inspiring a high level of motivation & interest for engineer careers. For example: studying control to grasp objects or computing matrix or face detection to get NAO moving become exciting projects

    1. if thing are meant to be broken then it will .. but it depends on how you handle things right? if you'll take good care of it then it will last much longer, :D

    1. Nao is available for about $8000 now. All the robots come with the software and SDK to program it. :)
